Jesus Loves You - The Apple of His Eye
Have you ever felt alone, unloved, or unworthy? Maybe you're in a place of brokenness, feeling like no one cares about you. The good news is that you are the apple of God's eye. Deuteronomy 32:10 says, "He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, instructed him, and kept him as the apple of his eye." This verse tells us that God's very focus is on you. You are the apple of His eye, the one He cares for profoundly and watches over.
The Love of God the Father
God loves you individually, personally, and deeply. You are His beloved child, and He cherishes you beyond measure. He loves you so much that He sent His son, Jesus, to show you the way to Him. Even in your darkest moments, when you feel lost and alone, God is there, reaching out to you with love and compassion.
Finding Comfort in the Desert
Maybe you feel like you're in a desert right now, a place of dryness and emptiness. But even in the wilderness, God will find you. He will come to you in your brokenness, wrapping you in His arms of love and grace. You are not alone; you are never alone. God is with you, guiding you, and protecting you every step of the way.
Overcoming Feelings of Unworthiness
The enemy may try to whisper lies to you, telling you that you are unworthy, unloved, and alone. But those are lies from the pit of hell. You are precious in God's sight, the apple of His eye. He created you, He knows you, and He loves you more than you can imagine. Let go of the feelings of inferiority and unworthiness, and embrace the truth that you are loved beyond measure by the creator of the universe.
Embracing God's Love
No matter your past or present circumstances, God's love for you remains constant. He will never leave you or forsake you. His love is unchanging, unwavering, and unconditional. So, open your heart to receive His love, embrace His grace, and walk in the freedom that comes from knowing that you are truly loved by the Father.
The "apple of the eye" is the Heb. _ishon_, meaning manikin, i.e., the eye pupil. So, we can say that you are the apple of God’s eye, which means you are the focus of his attention, and His very focus is right on you. The God the Father loves you individually, personally, and then collectively given to Christ as a gift. He came to show you to the father.
Maybe you are in a hard place, feeling alone and unloved. Perhaps the enemy is telling you that you are unworthy and unloved by God and others. Maybe your parents made you feel inferior. The good news is the Father will come to you in your desert and meet you in your place of brokenness because you are the apple of His eye. That is how much He cares for His children. He will come and find you.
