The Reframing Thoughts of Fear to Peace - WX11523

reframing your thoughts - break the cycle of anxiety

Are you a control freak? Maybe you are dealing with a spirit of fear. There is no way, no matter how hard you try, you can control everything all the time. You cannot control what's happened or what will happen, but you can control how you perceive it.

Control Freak Meaning

Control freaks tend to have a psychological need to be in charge of things and people - even circumstances that cannot be controlled. The need for control, in extreme cases, stems from deeper psychological issues such as obsessive–compulsive personality disorder (OCPD), anxiety disorders, or personality disorders.

Reframe your Thoughts

It is reframing your thoughts. Reframing is when we decide not to hang on to old perceptions that have worked against us. It means choosing a different, godly, more productive way of thinking.

  1. Stay calm. If you react, you will probably react how you've always responded. Are your reactions positive or negative?
  2. Identify the situation. When exactly, and indeed, is happening?
  3. Identify the automatic thoughts that cause the negative response. If someone breaks something in your house, you automatically respond to panic. You cannot control what breaks, you can control how to perceive it. Instead of thinking the automatic response, identify the thought, take it captive, and make it obedient to Christ.
  4. Find objective, supportive evidence. Deal with the reality. Yes, things are going to break in your home. Trust God, find a scripture to stand on, and renew your mind with truth. There is no reason to freak out.

You can take these steps, but you cannot control what happens.

One thing to remember is you may fall again. Dash to the Lord, repent, so when guilt, shame, or accusation comes your way, you can tell the enemy you are forgiven. Don't receive the guilt. Second, forgive yourself.

The entire bible is based on these three things: 1. Love God, 2. Love Others, 3. Love yourself. That means forgiving yourself.

A feeling of separation from God happens whenever there is any breach in these three areas. The Bible is all about love. We are His creation. I've seen too many people who cannot forgive themselves for their past sins. We must appropriate the Word of God of truth to break free from bondages of self-hatred. Learn to do self-care and love yourself and not fall into the enemy's lies.

If you've done five steps and are still stuck, in bondage, tormented, or broken, you may need some help and receive deliverance.

Be Strong in the Lord

Be Strong in the Lord

Be Strong in the Lord

Did you know you don't always have to be strong?

How many of you are stuck being driven to prove yourself to be strong? Because of the Lord's grace, you don't have to be vital for your church, friends, or work.

Let me ask you a question? Who told you that you had to become strong no matter what? Did you know the scriptures say to be strong in Him?

Deuteronomy 31:6 ~ Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.

Philippians 4:13 ~ I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

Rest assured and trust God - He's got you safe in His everlasting and loving hands. You can trust Him with your fears, anxiety, and stress. In 1 John 4:18, it says perfect love casts out fear. Enter into His presence and receive His love. You are His little girl.

The Lord wants to heal your scares of life and surrender them to Him.

Don't Be Fearful Trusting God

Don't Be Fearful - Prov 22:6

God is in Control

Don't be Fearful - Trust God

Don't be fearful or disheartened by the state of the world, but be hopeful in the Lord that He can do something about it. He does hear our prayers.
Every person in history has been placed in the time they were in because of God’s sovereign plan.
He knew Daniel could handle the lion's den.
He knew David could take Goliath.
He knew Esther could handle Haman.
He knew Peter could handle persecution.

He knows every challenge faced in life. God is in control of everything.
God isn’t scratching His head wondering what He will do with this world mess.
He has an army He’s raising up to drive back the darkness and make Him known all over the earth.
Don’t let your fear steal the greatness God placed in You. Jesus carries the weight we carry if we let Him. He wants you to cast your cares to Him because He cares - 1 Peter 5:7. Jesus is our perfect peace. Jesus is peace, so turn to Him and trust Him. He is worthy to be trusted.

God's sovereignty is essential to who he is; he has supreme authority and absolute power over everything.

How To Stop Obsessive Thoughts - Detach from Anxious...

How to Stop Obsessive Thoughts - Detach from Anxious

How To Stop Obsessive Thoughts

Do your thoughts put you into a “mental rut,” prevent you from making decisions, make you worry unnecessarily, drain your energy, or disrupt your sleep? 👪

An average person can have 20,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day. Studies show that 80% of thoughts are negative, and about 95% are repetitive. These thoughts are usually subconscious and can drain your energy and brain power. 🧠

These harmful and repetitive thoughts prevent us from taking the best action for ourselves and others. ☝

One of the ways to stop the obsessive intrusive thoughts that can trigger anxiousness is the following way. First, it is so essential to recognize our thoughts. Did you know that not all our thoughts are ours? We are beings between two realms - God speaks, and God speaks. Do you know the difference between God and Satan? Most people don't know. 🧠

All the enemy does is project a thought that sounds like ours and then replay a past hurt or false belief or have negative emotional feelings opposite of God's truth. 😅

God's word is very clear when it comes to discerning our thoughts. Second, in Hebrews 5:14 cast them down 2 Cor. 10:5. Once a person recognizes the origination of thought and knows the Lord's voice, no more accepting the lies person can believe. 💓

The question is, who is defining you? God's Word or past events that replay, creating a rut? Regrets of the past? Self-unforgiveness? How about a lack of self-care? Isn't it time to throw the past in a bucket and receive God's word of truth to renew and reform new thought patterns with the Word of God that gives hope and a future with peace, quiet mind, and renewed confidence of who you are in Christ?  💁

Jesus died, went to hell, and took the keys away from Satan so we could be overcome. God's word renews our minds with His truth. The Word fights the enemy back. Jesus quoted the Word three, and then Satan left when Jesus was in the wilderness. 👲

I used to work with satanically ritually abused people born in generations of witchcraft. What holds them in captivity is fear and negative thought patterns. They believe so many lies and live in fear. What they explained to me is the Word of God burns the enemy. The Word is like fire. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Jeremiah 5:14
Verse Concepts
Therefore, thus says the Lord, the God of hosts,
“Because you have spoken this word,
Behold, I am making My words in your mouth fire
And this people wood, and it will consume them.

“‘Is not my word like as a fire?’ saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?’
” (Jeremiah 23:29 – KJV

Destroying Strongholds of the Mind

Destroying Strongholds of the Mind Causing Anxiety and Stress

Three steps to break strongholds of the mind as thought

Breaking Strongholds of the Mind

Strongholds of the mind are negative thoughts when we believe a lie opposite to God's truth. The more you replay the lie, the stronger it gets that must be pulled down and broken. Strongholds of the mind can also develop if we keep replaying hurts, regrets of the past, shame, and more.

how to break strongholds scriptures

2 Corinthians 10:4 - Strongholds can’t be brought down with carnal weapons. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds… ******************************

Our Lord is the king of the Present and Future.
He wants you to live in the present and not in the past. That's Satan's kingdom to separate you from you and not have peace. Satan wants you to live in the past, receive his accusation, or replay the hurts and pains of the past.

Jesus forgave us of our past at salvation, but the enemy does not want us to believe this truth.
How do we break a stronghold in mind? 1) Recognize the lie. Is it God's character to accuse you, put guilt on you, etc. No way. Did it exist in the garden? It didn't. Once you recognize the stronghold - the thought, the next step to bringing it down is repentance.

So, step 2 is to cast down the lie. 2 Cor. says Cast down every vain imagination that exhausts itself against God. Step 3: reframe your mind with the Lord's truth.
Isn't that what Jesus did with Satan when coming off his fast in the wilderness? He quoted the Word three times, and Satan fleed away. That is spiritual warfare and renewing the mind. Don't give in to the lies. He wants to steal your identity, purpose, and what Jesus did on the cross. John 10:10.

Fight the good fight.

Perfect Love Cast Out Fear

Perfect Love Cast Out Fear

Perfect Love Cast Out Fear

Receive your hug from the Lord!

1 John 4:18 "perfect love cast out fear."

Do you wake up in the morning and feel this horrible dread, this absolute wretchedness?
Many of us have had difficult pasts or various struggles and trials. How about struggles to look to God and His promises and believe and hope? Then, hope for something better for their future.
It all comes down to which voice we listen to. Are we listening to a spirit of Fear or the Spirit of God? Let’s explore how to overcome the fear of the future and dread and establish faith over fear.

Do you have a fear of making mistakes or failure? Then they can project past mistakes into the future that, robs hope for tomorrow. Fear is just that – the absence of faith or hope.

Fear and dread will cause us to get hyper-focused on tomorrow's potential problems or evils, so we cannot correctly deal with things today.

How do we overcome this fear?

One is learning to stay in the present, not reflect or replay the past - forgive yourself. We need to take on each challenge, choice, and activity, one at a time, step by step, trusting God for the leading and guidance for the next and the next step.

Overcoming fear is not a positive confession or declaration of what we want. It’s about a heart issue. Who do we choose to really believe today?

Fear is putting your faith in the enemy.

How does a person get rooted and grounded in a relationship and trust God? Faith is a moment-by-moment where they take a step in faith over the situation before them. This will make it easier for them to problem solve, find solutions, or make quick decisions to avert danger.

It is believing moment by moment that God will help us through anything and give us strength and wisdom to overcome fear. But that means you don't listen to the enemy's lies, which is the opposite of faith and love. Cast it down the lies - 2 Cor. 10:5 that exalts against God's truth and word.

God’s love helps us defeat fear as they occur. If we seek and desire to live after faith and be grounded in God’s love, that may have been tarnished in how we grew up. There's no fear in love 1 John 4:18. Overcoming fear is a process.

Sometimes it takes deliverance or relearning to renew your mind God's way.

 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

 - But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

 - We love him, because he first loved us.

 - For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

 - Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Romans 8:35-39 - Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

 - The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

 - He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

 - I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

 - Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

 - The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

 - Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

 - And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

The Lord is Our Yoke

The Lord is Our Yoke - Cast Your Cares to the Lord

The Lord is Our Yoke

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

My Yoke is Made Easy

A yoke was a harness used by oxen and other animals to ease the work of hauling a load. It was also meant as a designation of servitude and carrying the burden of a task or mission. 💔

we take the Savior’s yoke upon us and do his will, we will find the peace and joy that he has promised.

How far could you carry this burden before stopping to rest? 😴

There are many kinds of loads, or burdens. Some are physical, while others are spiritual or emotional and not as easy to see. Many unseen burdens can exceed our strength to bear them alone, and we become weary. This lesson discusses how the Lord can lighten our burdens and bring us rest. 😎

Jesus invites us to take his yoke upon us and learn of him.

In the same way, when we trudge through life without God’s guidance, we “are of all men most miserable.” (1 Corinthians 15:19). By accepting Jesus’ yoke instead, we allow Him to walk with us and share the load. 😅

Taking His yoke doesn’t mean holding onto the things that weigh us down, like unforgiveness, bitterness, and shame. Instead, taking His yoke gives us freedom from these things as we humble ourselves before Him. 😄

We will all face incredible difficulties in this life. Some may suggest that becoming a Christian relieves us of suffering, but that isn’t true. Jesus said, “In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33). Jesus knew we would face trouble, so He welcomed our reliance on Him.

In 1 Peter 5:7 it says to cast our cares to him because he cares. 💓 His great love for us. We are not alone with the burden. 💓

You can give your heaviness for renewed ease that day, which is why I felt lighter. We can replace our overwhelmed lives with God’s peace when we give our burdens to Jesus.

You can also look at it as sin

Neither Moses nor the Pharisees could give rest from the pressing burden or offer release from the oppressive load that the Law brought. Christ, recognizing that there was no other course to rest and peace than that to be found through submission to Himself, invited people out of their old discipleship to a new one.

The reason people find rest by taking Christ’s yoke is that His yoke is a different kind of yoke.

When the Law was imposed on humans, it did not bring liberty. It brought bondage. Rather than freedom, it brought oppression. Instead of a sense of release, it got a sense of guilt and failure.

The Pharisees made no effort to bring freedom and liberty. In fact, their system imposed heavy burdens (Matt 23:4).

Our Lord looked at a nation under a heavy burden that the Pharisees did not try to lift from those who were crushed beneath its load. And He came to say, “Come to me . . . and I will give you rest.”

Notice our Lord’s invitation when He said to this oppressed multitude, “Come to me” (v. 28). Moses had offered the children of Israel the Law at Mount Sinai. And Israel responded by saying, “We will do everything the Lord has said” (Ex 19:8). The people voluntarily submitted themselves to the Law and were yoked to the Law.

This is the same invitation our Lord had given to the first apostles. In Mark 1:16–17 Christ summoned Simon and his brother Andrew with “Come, follow me.” And He did the same with James son of Zebedee and his brother John.

But how could Christ give rest? The strange contradiction is that Christ exchanged the yoke of Pharisaism for another yoke. “Take my yoke upon you” is how people find rest. The questioner might ask, “If I must bear a yoke, what difference does it really make, whether it be the yoke of Pharisaism or the yoke of Christ? After all, a yoke is a yoke.”

As they submit to His authority and are yoked with Him, they will find rest for their souls.
Christ did not say to the distressed, “Come to me, and I will remove all yokes from you and give you rest.” His invitation and the condition upon which people would experience the results were found in taking “my yoke upon you.” To take Christ’s yoke means to submit oneself to the authority of Christ. It means putting ourselves under His rule and joining with Him. He is inviting people to put their shoulders into a new yoke in which He is the yoke mate. And He promises that they will find rest for their souls as they submit to His authority and are yoked with Him.
Are you restless, child of God? Often distraught, discouraged? Perhaps at the edge of despair? Put your shoulder into His yoke so that He might bear the burden. Learn to walk yoked to Jesus Christ, and you will find rest for your soul. This is His promise.
